Loved working on Jena.Theo AW11 assisting Kim Brown at Premier and Belle Sauvage AW11 assisting Yin Lee at Premier too!! So much fun and both completely different experiences and looks! Both amazing artists and completely lovely people! I've definitely caught the LFW bug now and can't wait for Triumph on Tuesday. I was also very lucky to receive a huge amount of free products by RMK!
Jena.Theo AW11's look by Kim Brown was inspired by Blade Runner and a desert sun baked look, with a simple Black slightly softened line across the eyes and a hint of desert sun across the cheeks, nose and forehead. We were spoilt for time on this show, but we literally had the coldest and smallest room in the whole building! I'm suprised our black lines were straight at all with all the shaking we were doing! Even so, nothing was going to dampen my spirits as this was my first LFW show as a make-up artist and I don't think it could have gone any better! I was very nervous with not knowing what to expect - doubting my ability is the first thing I attack, then do I have all the right products I'm going to need, are they good enough etc. etc. which leads to no sleep, so I run on nervous energy throughout the job.
All good fun though, it keeps me on my toes and in love with my job!
Belle Sauvage AW11's Look by Yin Lee had pale skin, blocked eyebrows and iridescence down the centre of the face creating a beautiful edgy gleam, lots of detail for a simple and effective look! - we had very little time in the end to complete the looks after the extensive run through... but we did it! I had to do the below look in about 30 seconds whilst the model was having her hair done at the same time...
